Birth Doula
Services
All families should have support through labor and birth
Why have a doula?
A doula is a trained labor supporter who provides a birther and their partner with continuous emotional and physical comfort throughout labor and birth. We also help you to prepare for birth by helping you understand your options and giving you tools to prepare your mind and body.
"If a doula were a drug,
it would be unethical not to use it."
- Dr. John Kennell
Your birth is something you will remember all your life, our goal is to help ensure it will be a positive one.

Evidence shows that birthers with continuous 1:1 support are:
28%
Less likely to have a cesarean section
31%
Less likely to use synthetic oxytocin to speed up labor
9%
Less likely to use any pain medication
39%
Less likely to rate their childbirth experience negatively
